Metz Eurométropole, a territory labelled « Destination Innovation Durable »
Metz Eurométropole was labelled « Destination Innovation Durable » (Sustainable and Innovative Destination) in May 2022 and is one of the 9 pilots French destinations for this new label, synonym of the territory’s commitment to sustainable tourism and Eco-Responsible events.
This new label is a new step which succeeds in keeping with the destinations historical ties to sustainability. Indeed, Metz Eurométropole perpetuates the heritage of Jean Marie Peltre, founder of the European Ecology Institute and conceptor of urban ecology. This label confirms the territory’s capacity to conjugate attractivity and sustainability.
Metz Events certified ISO 20121
The venues of Metz Events: The Exhibition Center, the Convention Centre and Robert Schuman Congress Center have received in 2022 the ISO 20121 certification.
This international label was elaborate to promote sustainable consumption and limit the ecological impact of infrastructures and local public actors.
Since 2020, Met Events also has the Safe & Clean label, insuring exhibitors and visitors that all necessary sanitary measures are put in place for their safety.
